Trainings for Good Living

Dear Dedicated Blog Readers,

I am aware that I am working on some big ideas that will be fun to start sharing with you.

You all know I love good communication and people being joyful. I am very excited about a conversation I had with the YMCA’s Aquatic Department. I was supposed to show the movie but fate had another plan.

So, I gave them another program. I am so delighted at how it turned out. My asking for the audience to share their thoughts and experiences really paid off as they were generous. Oh, it was good stuff. I am so interested in saying a few findings.

I realize that many people are feeling lonely and super

different.

I am also aware that it is hard to make the shift from thinking people are strange to thinking they are fabulously interesting.

I think that I am forward with my thinking and I think that easily we can address these things by having conversations with each other.  I want to keep leading those conversations.

I like making my talks fun by totally connecting with everyone in the room. I am thinking that the best way to add humor is to start off with fun gossip and things that surprise people as I really seem disconnected from that kind of stuff. When I do this I give them a good surprise. And we have a good time.

Oh, my friends love all there is in your life and love all that will come.

Fondly,

Mark

The Warrior of Love

Having Moments of Connection with Ourselves

Dear Readers,

Oh, I am happy to report that I filmed the first episode of my talk show at CCTV last week. It was a nerve wracking blast. My guest was the wonderful Paul Schnabel. I fast discovered why he was a perfect guest and that is that he is so charming and real.

Oh, please take some time to watch it. Meghan did a great job speeding up my typing so the flow of my words is in high gear for a change.

I am hoping to interview Jernigan Pontiac next.

The other cool thing that has happened recently was a visit to Bridget Kerr’s “Horses and Healing” class at Saint Michael’s College. I was delighted to find how open the students were to who I am and what I have to say.

Yes, I did ask for comments on the quiz I gave in my previous blog post. Pleased they came with questions and yet no one took the bait on the quiz.

Please take a moment to review it and send me a line if you are inclined.

““I have a lot of light in me that I flood into spaces and I make sure to splash some on me.” ”
— Mark Utter at Saint Michael's College

On a cosmic note, please hold the idea that we are in some wacky energy times and can only get through by talking clearly and dearly to our selves. Oh, it is hard to do but I think you know how important it is. I am thinking about how much light is in all of us. Splash away.

As the saying goes “the more you love the more you will be loved.”

On we go.

Fondly,

Mark

Your Friend Who Loves You

On Horses, Diversity, and Love

Dear Beloved Blog Readers,

Oh it is great to know so many of you are enjoying this blog. Your comments have been great.

I am going to be doing a couple of talks in the next weeks so I will use writing to you as a way to develop some content.

Because I am a really odd person I am interested in the concept of diversity.

I am so aware of the fine line between “strange” and “interesting” and how we easily label some people one or the other.  Please know that we are all beautifully imperfect and I do this too with many people who are different. I have found that once people connect with my energy or my words or both they can let the “strange” adjective go and allow me to be fabulously “interesting.”

Ok, let’s do a quiz.

I want you to consider how easy it is to decide somebody is not like you.

Now think how easy it is to dislike yourself.

Please hold those thoughts for a moment.

I am certain you can adjust those thoughts with a soft feeling called love.

Oh I know it feels hard to consider the thought it very much depends just on love but it does. Love has a power we can employ. Please know there is much to be had when it is and energy shifts.

On a different note, horses are my totally favorite animal because they feel like super sensitive people. The world has as many of them as it has horses. They employ love to survive. Oh what soldiers of peace on earth they are.

Folks, love well.

The time is ripe for that.

Fondly,

Mark
