Ancient Saying of Thank You

Dear Beloved Blog Readers,

I hope you are happy and well.

I very much thank you all for being a listening partner to my sharings with the world.

We are easily frightened by what we don't know.

You might see me on the street and some of you do and you easily say things to me. What I can't do in those moments is say the smart things in my head.

I am easily one loving big sharer of good working energy. I have thoughts that connect to that which I hope to share more with the world. We connect in this blog over these thoughts.

Oh, want to wish us all good things.

And to, now, make this work I want to inspire you to think of what good things you require and desire.

You will need to think for a minute in silence to hear your inner voice.

Wacky requests of the universe are welcome.

I am going to encourage you to write these on paper. That is what Emily and I do every year for each other.

Happy New Year everyone!

Fondly,

Mark

Up with Thanking for All the Good Giving

Hi Dear Blog Readers,

Joy for the nation is here as we make time to give thanks for all that we now have.

Joy is with me as I thank all of you who supported my efforts to bring Angie Sylas here to assess my communication supports. That week was a true joy in my life. For the icing on the cake of that time I officiated Emily and Brian's wedding. Another great outcome of this time are my meetings with Rowan another young wise typer. We are working on a list of things that are not working in our lives so can improve them.

My focus in life now is in improving my life. The assistant for that is a project with Jonathan Berger. You will hear more about this when there is more to say.

Oh, I would most definitely like to share these thoughts with you.

Do smile a lot.

Find joy and magic everywhere.

Fondly,

Mark The Thoughtful Thankful One

Summer of Dreams

Dear Beloved Blog Readers,

I am so happy that the days have brought new energy as school begins for so many.

I am really thinking that we shall all find what we need if we work to lighten our thoughts of worry. I am thinking that the making of change comes from the mighty shifts from thinking closed thoughts. On to more openness we go. I really feel that happening now. I hope you do too.

Long to share with you the big joy it truly was to officiate Emily and Brian's wedding. I am excited to show you the wonderful monologue I wrote and shared on that beautiful day in August.

I will say that I am a optimist in many ways but when it comes to marriage I am cautious.

I am really in tune with people because I really get a lot of my information from people's energy. I am totally aware of how everyone in a room gets along with others. It is one of the many perks I have from my autism.

I am totally in love with the idea of marriage. For me it is the blending of two souls together. It is also the safe space for these two to be truthfully themselves.

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines marriage 'as the state of being united as spouses in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law.'

That is the formal binding thing we will do shortly.

But first I will tell you why the energy between these two is perfect.

My connection to this union began shortly after Emily left her job as a puppeteer with the Bread and Puppet Theater and moved to Burlington. She taught a mask making class for me and my peers. We were a wildly diverse group and kind of opened Emily's mind to all of our talents and she created a theater company for us to show them and tell our stories. I think many of you know the outcome of many years of show making resulted in the production of my screenplay into a movie called "I am in here."

It was a life changing event. I was found in my head and Emily had some things she needed to think deeply about. She surprised us all and moved back to the country.

Then I met Brian. For this meeting I was very excited.

Really everything Emily's energy was saying made me completely sure of this union. I am sure many of you are in agreement. Oh, when I saw that great grin I knew it was a good union and not everyone would put up with such an interesting evaluation. I think Brian really, really thinks I am very cool. He is a tireless advocate of people being who they are.

So Emily and Brian's relationship is rooted in this idea. They support each other in being their best selves and in this they then support all those they meet. For this, is the power of love.

My words were delivered by me via PowerPoint and the magnificent voice of Paul Schnabel.

What I love most about being a part of this day was that it was perfect in every way. Not a detail went untouched by Emily and Brian but they were completely in the present for the very wonderful event that it was.

I want to exclaim loudly, so loudly, how completely awesome it was for me to have Angie Sylas, my friend and communication colleague, here in Vermont for a week.

The great thing about the time is that we now have a cool future project growing which I will tell you about soon.

Until then, plant dreams and let them hopefully grow.

Fondly

Mark
